Panic spread across the national capital on Monday morning after at least 10 schools received bomb threat calls within a short span of time.

According to officials, the calls were reported between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM, prompting an immediate security response.

Swift Emergency Response

Teams from the police, fire department, and bomb detection and disposal squads were dispatched to the affected institutions without delay. Authorities evacuated students and staff as a precaution while thorough searches of the premises began.

Officials confirmed that emergency calls were received from multiple schools located in different parts of Delhi, including three institutions in South Delhi.

A senior official from the fire department stated that all necessary protocols were activated immediately after the alerts were received.

Search Operations Underway

Security teams conducted systematic inspections of classrooms, administrative blocks, and surrounding areas to rule out any threat. As of the latest update, searches were ongoing.

Authorities have not yet disclosed the source of the calls, and an investigation has been initiated to trace those responsible.

The evacuation was carried out in an orderly manner to ensure student safety. Parents were informed, and school management coordinated closely with local authorities during the operation.

Former Telangana minister T. Harish Rao has alleged irregularities in the state’s excise department, claiming that microbrewery and liquor licences were allocated in a manner that favoured select individuals for political benefit.
